Revolutionizing Public Access to Services Through Kosovo’s First Self-Service Totem DLD Group is proud to have developed and implemented DLD Identa, the first self-service totem ever created by the company, marking a major milestone in both our journey and the digital transformation of public services in Kosovo. Launched in close cooperation with the Municipality of Prishtina, the Identa totems locally referred to in media and municipal communications as “e-kiosks” provide citizens with instant, 24/7 access to essential municipal documents. These include birth certificates, marriage records, family composition certificates, and various administrative confirmations that previously required in-person visits to municipal offices. A Smart City Solution for Efficient Governance DLD Group deployed 20 DLD Identa totems across Prishtina, installing them in high-traffic areas to maximize citizen access. Each totem is equipped with:

• A large touchscreen interface for easy navigation
• A high-speed document printer and scanner
• Secure user authentication modules (including digital ID verification)
• Real-time integration with municipal databases
• These features allow users to complete official requests independently, reducing queues, staff workload, and overall bureaucracy.

Transparency, Speed, and Citizen Empowerment The impact of these totems has been widely recognized. Featured in local news outlets and praised by both government officials and citizens, the “e-kiosks” have become symbols of smart governance and digital public infrastructure in Kosovo. They deliver not only convenience and efficiency but also transparency and accountability by digitally logging and tracking service delivery.With no need for intermediaries, citizens enjoy fast, secure, and paperless service, aligning with European standards for smart cities and digital transformation. A Foundation for the Future As the first of its kind, DLD Identa set the foundation for DLD Group’s growing portfolio of smart, citizen-focused technologies. This project demonstrates our ability to design and implement impactful, real-world tech solutions that meet the evolving needs of governments and communities alike. The success of DLD Identa in Prishtina has opened the door for future expansion across other municipalities, and has positioned DLD Group as a leader in e-governance infrastructure in the Balkans.
